The curing agent chain extender DMTDA curing speed is much slower than DETDA, and can be mixed with DETDA in different proportions to adjust the curing speed to meet different needs.
1. Dimethylthiotoluenediamine-DMTDA hindered aromatic diamine, the steric hindrance of methylthio and methyl makes its activity lower than TDA and DETDA, and its reaction rate with prepolymer is longer than DETDA5 -9 times.
2. The activity of dimethylthiotoluene diamine-curing agent chain extender DMTDA is higher than that of MOCA, and the pouring time for curing with dimethylthiotoluene diamine-curing agent chain extender DMTDA in the prepolymer with low NOC content Shorter than MOCA, it is more suitable for workers to operate and improve production efficiency.

6. MOCA needs high temperature during curing to volatilize carcinogens, but DMTDA will not volatilize carcinogens at room temperature. It is an internationally recognized environmentally friendly chain extender (curing agent).
7.Compared with the traditional curing agent MOCA, dimethylthiotoluene diamine-DMTDA has many advantages: it is liquid at room temperature, easy to use, and can be cured at room temperature; the mechanical properties of the cured product are comparable to MOCA and comparable foreign products The physical and mechanical properties are basically the same, and the price is lower, which can reduce the cost of the product, so this product is an ideal substitute for traditional curing agents.

 

4.Dimethylthiotoluene diamine-curing agent chain extender DMTDA processing performance and performance:

Dimethylthiotoluenediamine-DMTDA is a low-viscosity liquid at room temperature. It has good fluidity. Therefore, it provides flexibility for the temperature at which the prepolymer is mixed with the curing agent. According to this, it There are also the following advantages:
1. Good compatibility with other components;
2. When the NCO% content in the prepolymer is low, it requires a shorter curing time than MOCA, which is more beneficial to the operator.
